The Clover Key

Name: Shinoha, or 'Shi'

Chain: The Clover Chain

Physical description -
Hair: Pale white darkening at its roots to seem a minty green, almost luminescent. It must be a dye job with her obviously asian background, but it's a most realistic dye-job, not damaging the hair in any way. Cut just above her shoulders, it's higher at the back than at the front, adding to the angular look of her face. Thin bangs fan out to below the eyebrows and above the eyes.
Eyes: What at first seem black, at closer appearance are a deep brown the colour of mud after a rainfall with small flecks of green around the pupil.. The angular almond slant of her eyes betrays her asian origins more than anything else about her and thick black lashes half-cover them as she rarely
opens her eyes the full way, preferring to let them rest in what can seem to the observer as either lazily or warily.
Face: Angular but beautiful. Her chin comes nearly to a point and her jawline is quite clear. Her cheekbones are prominant but in a way that implies naturalness, not anorexia or other eating disorders. Her lips, in comparison, are quite full and dark and often shape an 'o', giving her a somewhat shocked waiflike appearance. Her high arched eyebrows are a pale green. Her ears are not peirced.
Height: Roughly 5'3".
Weight: Slightly light for her height, at about 120 lbs.
Figure: She is very slender but again, not TOO thin, with a good bust size (roughly 34 B) but thin hips. Her fingers and are very slender and long, adding to her delicate appearance.
Clothing: She wears a long, pale-green skirt that's billowy to hide the thinness of her hips. On her top, she wears a white midriff top with no sleeves but a high neck. A single charm bracelet adorns her left wrist, and another her right ankle. She prefers to go shoeless. A touch of green lipstick is brushed across her lips.
Other notes: On the curve of her left shoulder, a small four-leaf clover is tattooed. She also has a small scar in the form of a thin line on her right inner thigh.

Personality: Her quietness can often be mistaken for apathy or wariness but
instead is merely the fact that although she understands English perfectly
well, her accent embarrasses her a little and she prefers not to speak
unless spoken to. She feels she should be flawless and her accent shows the origins pale hair disguises. She is slightly afraid of emotional attatchments to people due to the fear people have often given her in her life before becoming a Chain. She doesn't want people to get attatched to her but she DOES want to, basically, help people, in whatever way. This is assisted by her unusual 'ability', granting wishes. When a master/mistress says the words, "I wish," she will do everything in her power to grant that wish. Everything. And sometimes things that shouldn't be IN her power, not if she's the normal human she believes she is. Hence her alienation from others.

Background: Shinoha was raised in a fundamentalist Catholic family in Japan who were NOT at all pleased when she exhibited her 'ability'. They called it devil-given, and she herself sometimes thinks it might be. Certainly the results of her hearing an unhappy child saying, "I wish I were DEAD!" were catastrophic. Everyone says to be careful what you wish for... Shinoha knows that all too well. When caucasian officials arrived and took her to become a Chain, neither she nor her family protested at all. Since then she has had three masters and one mistress, and has refused to become emotionally attached to any of them. Once their wishes are granted, they have no more need of her and return the Chain. She has never had a chance to be drawn out of her shell because, so far, she has only been used as a person's vehicle for their own success. Nobody has ever made a wish for her own benefit. Yet.

The room:
The first impression is that Clover Chain must be a green-thumb... there are enough potted plants in the large room that the place is almost difficult to maneuver. The floors are, oddly enough, dirt, and have small plants growing in that as well. There is a stone path for masters or mistresses who dislike the dirt. Further back the dirt clears for a large bed with green sheets and comforter. A small dresser holds makeup and dresses beside it and there will always be a hairbrush and a tube of lipstick lying on it. On the other side of the room is a large bookshelf, with books mainly in Japanese. A sign hangs on the wall above the bed, "Be careful what you wish for."
